Luc Bourgeois and François Couillard are the co-founding partners that make up part of the Brio Innovation team.
Knowing that the complementarity of their individual skills would be their main strength, they chose to build Brio Innovation around this asset.

François Couillard
After obtaining his diploma in Industrial design from the University of Montréal in 1993, François Couillard quickly becomes interested in computer aided design. After two years of practicing, he decides to study at the National Animation and Design Centre (NAD) in order to perfect his training with virtual imagery software.
In 1996, he gets a chance to pursue his passion in the field of transportation when he joins the Ski-Doo division at Bombardier Produits Récréatifs (now called BRP). There, he participates in the design and development of snowmobiles for nearly three years before joining the all-terrain vehicles design team.
He leaves BRP in 2000 to join a design and engineering firm in Montréal. He will work there until he and Luc Bourgeois decide to launch their own firm, Brio Innovation, in 2004.
Throughout his career, François Couillard has developed a strong expertise in the field of computer aided design. Now recognized throughout North-America, this expertise contributes to the high quality of Brio Innovation’s projects.
Luc Bourgeois
Luc Bourgeois graduated from the University of Montréal with a degree in Industrial Design. He began his career working for a consulting firm, Alto design, where, for 8 years, he designed and developed a variety of products.
In 2000, he decides to join Bombardier’s recreational products design team. He was directly involved in the design of vehicles and
accessories, working with various divisions of the company. Among the many projects he participated in was the BV2S snowmobile helmet, recipient of the prestigious “Reddot award” in 2005.
In July 2004, with a few patents under his belt and considerable experience, he decides to make a move and start his own business. He joins forces with François Couillard; together, they launch Brio Innovation.
Creativite and artistic sensibility, and, a keen sense of analysis and synthesis are the main assets that make him the key person with regards to concept development and creative leadership at Brio Innovation.
